Edward Nyarko

Co-Founder| Economist & Technology Consultant

Edward Nyarko brings together expertise in economics, quantitative analysis, financial systems, and technology. His professional experience spans central banking, international development, economic research, financial infrastructure, programming, and data-driven policy analysis. His work has included macroeconomic and financial-sector analysis, quantitative modeling, financial infrastructure development, software and database systems, and applied research. At E-Digit Systems, he applies this multidisciplinary background to help organizations use software, analytics, research, and digital technologies to solve practical business and institutional problems.

Edward Nyarko is an economist, quantitative analyst, and technology professional whose experience spans economic policy, financial systems, data analytics, software development, and digital transformation. He brings more than a decade of professional experience in macroeconomic surveillance, monetary policy analysis, financial stability, quantitative modeling, and financial-sector development.

His professional experience includes roles with the Bank of Ghana, the West African Monetary Institute, the World Bank Group, and the Harvard Growth Lab. At the Bank of Ghana, he contributed to macroeconomic and financial-sector analysis, policy reporting, and financial infrastructure reforms, including work associated with the establishment of Ghana's Secured Credit Registry. At the West African Monetary Institute, he worked on regional macroeconomic surveillance, financial stability analysis, and research covering economies of the West African Monetary Zone.

Edward's background also combines economics with technology. Earlier in his career, he worked as a computer programmer and financial investment analyst, contributing to financial modeling, investment analysis, software systems, and organizational technology infrastructure. His current technical toolkit includes Python, R, MATLAB, Stata, EViews, Tableau, web development technologies including Django, and cloud platforms such as AWS.

He holds an MPA in International Development from Harvard University, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Ghana, and a bachelor's degree combining Computer Science and Economics. He is also completing a PhD in Economics at Clark University, where his research examines productivity, external shocks, trade liberalization, and macroeconomic adjustment in frontier economies.

At E-Digit Systems, Edward brings these disciplines together to help businesses and institutions turn complex problems into practical solutions. His work focuses on applying software engineering, data analytics, economic and business research, financial analysis, and digital technologies to improve decision-making, strengthen operations, and support sustainable organizational growth.

Economist and investment strategy professional with extensive experience in foreign direct investment, investor services, international trade, and business facilitation. An Edward S. Mason Fellow and MPA graduate of Harvard University, she is also a PhD candidate in Economics at Clark University.

Evelyn Araba Egyiriwa Nyarko is Co-Founder of E-Digit Systems and an economist with extensive experience in foreign direct investment, investment facilitation, international trade, business development, and economic policy. Her career combines senior-level public-sector investment experience with advanced academic training in economics and international development.

Evelyn has built substantial professional experience at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), where she has held progressively senior roles in investor services and business development, including Deputy Director of the Investor Services Division. Her responsibilities have included leading teams that support prospective and existing investors, advising investors on opportunities across sectors of the Ghanaian economy, facilitating investment registration and aftercare, and helping businesses navigate regulatory requirements, incentives, and institutional processes.

Her work has involved close engagement with investors, government agencies, and other stakeholders on investment facilitation and business development. She has advised foreign investors on priority sectors, coordinated with institutions including the Ghana Revenue Authority and Ministry of Finance, analyzed investment and project information, and contributed to investment promotion and facilitation initiatives.

Evelyn was an Edward S. Mason Fellow at Harvard University, where she earned a Master in Public Administration (MPA). She is also a PhD candidate in Economics at Clark University. Earlier, she earned an MPhil in Economics and a First Class bachelor's degree in Economics and Geography from the University of Ghana. Her academic training complements her professional expertise in investment, economic policy, business environments, and development.

She also brings significant international exposure to investment promotion and economic development, having participated in forums and professional programs covering investment attraction, business facilitation, export and investment promotion, trade, and investment policy. Her experience includes presenting on doing business and investment opportunities in Ghana.

At E-Digit Systems, Evelyn brings an investment and business-development perspective to the firm's technology and analytics capabilities. She contributes expertise in investment strategy, market and economic analysis, business development, investor relations, and institutional engagement—helping clients connect technology and data-driven solutions with practical business opportunities, investment decisions, and sustainable growth.

Israel Nyarko is an aspiring software engineer from Worcester, Massachusetts. He studied Computer Science at South High Community School in Worcester and is entering Clark University, where he will pursue a major in Computer Science. Israel is developing his software engineering skills through hands-on projects, including the development of a church management system and website. He has a growing interest in web development, software engineering, and emerging technologies, with a focus on building practical digital solutions that address real-world needs.
